Introduction

Even though agriculture bears a large share of the responsibility when it comes to climate change and biodiversity loss, it would only take a few simple steps to make the switch to virtuous production methods. Agroecology – or the trend towards farming methods that are more respectful to ecosystems – is a genuine movement that’s revolutionising conventional agriculture by bringing it back to age-old practices that are beneficial to humans, the planet and biodiversity alike.
